A pioneering project in Open Source content management, and one of the best for large projects today. (Not to knock Drupal, or some of the other good CMS’s, but hey, how many frameworks can you master before you’re institutionalized for chronic acute geekiness?)

Joomla was a split-off from the Open Source project Mambo. It went through a major revision with the 1.5 release, which was production accepted in January, 2008 (shortly after our ASES project was started). Joomla has over 100,000 registered users on its forum, so we expect it to grow and improve for the foreseeable future.
